Well, after a long absence from the blog, I'm back, and what a time I've had since we last spoke.
First of all, I worked hard on Thursday, since I was told that I was no longer needed at the office, and I really wanted to go out with a bang. Anyway, I finished work, and then spent Friday living it up in New York City. I visited with a friend from summer camp, who was visiting the city to look at grad school, and then spent time with my sister. Yep, I'm doing it all.
Later that night, I went to a community orchestra concert. That all would have been fine, except my friend Wayne Newton and I got into an uncontrollable giggling fit during the slow movement of a Mozart Symphony. How embarrassing.
Anyway, not much happened this weekend, so we might as well just skip over that. However, I'll be back soon with news of what I did yesterday. Trust me, you'll want to hear all about it.
To make up for my long absence, I'm including a really fun picture from the internet.

You better hope our friend Janeane Garofalo, who played first clarinet at the concert, doesn't read your blog and learn all about our giggling fit. Not very classy.
Accolades,
Wayne-o
I bet you were wearing jeans at the concert, also, and we all know that is a sure sign of cretinism. Wait, is that racist?
I don't mean the tiny person kind of cretinism. I mean the idiots from Crete, like that damn minotaur. Oh whatever. There's no winning in a PC world like today.
